HELP NEEDED – Emergency Management

We are seeking help with the Emergency Management Agency of Bridgeton Township.

We need people to help with every aspect of emergency management, especially in the Planning and Communications area.

You do not need prior emergency management training. You do need:

– Very good computer skills (the vast majority of the work is done via a computer and internet connection)
– A working mobile phone with a text and data plan. (iPhone, Android)
– Willingness to meet about every 8 weeks in person

We need help with:

– Managing information for the emergency management function (contact lists, maps, road closure information)

– Helping to create and mange emergency plans

– Helping during emergencies with public communications and record keeping.
