And now…it’s your turn to help.

OK – now it’s your turn to help.

On Monday, we need to turn in damage reports to Bucks County office of Emergency Management.

Damage reports help with allocation of funds that MIGHT be available for cleanup and restoration. The better our reports, the better it is for Bucks County, and having them in on time will help the Bucks County EMA with their reports.

That means on SUNDAY we need to create the reports to be turned in Monday morning.

The Bridgeton Township EMA is one volunteer with a laptop and an iPhone and one part-time township administrator¬† – and that’s it.We don’t have the staff to quickly process the documents, even though the individual forms are quite simple. We need help.

On Sunday, we’re going to be at the Upper Black Eddy Fire Company with a stack of damage report forms.

We need help. We’re asking everyone who can to help by going out into the neighborhood and making sure we’re getting a damage report on every single home and business that was affected by flooding.

We also need some help back at the firehouse. If you have a laptop computer and feel comfortable working with it to fill out forms, by all means, bring it. We’ll supply the digital forms, you supply the data entry.

Thanks and we hope to see you there.

We’ll update the road status etc. as soon as there’s a meaningful change in the situation.
