Heavy Rains, but no river flooding expected

The huge amount of rain we got over the evening of November 22-23 will bring the river up quickly, but there are no projections for river flooding as of 9:30 AM 23 November 2011.

Palisades Middle School open again for meals/showers

If you are still without power please stop by the middle school on Rt. 412 this evening from 5-8pm for a hot meal. Hot showers will also be available until 9pm.

Hot Meals and Showers Available at Palisades Middle School

For residents who are still without power, Palisades Middle School will be open this evening, Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM for hot meals and hot showers. Please spread the word to neighbors and friends. Additionally, free water and ice are available at Giant stores in Hellertown and Plumsteadville.

Watch the small creeks tomorrow – expecting some water over roads

Although the River isn’t looking like there will be any big issues over the next few days, there’s going to be some heavy ponding from small creeks and streams that will become big creeks and streams throughout tomorrow.
